We are so delighted to have you with us for two days in one of England's most charming villages. Nestled along the River Test in Hampshire, Stockbridge provides the most beautiful backdrop for a celebration long in the making.
The weekend begins with a festive gathering on the evening of July 4th, and unfolds into our ceremony and luncheon on July 5th. We have tried to arrange everything so you may simply arrive, relax, and enjoy the occasion with us.
We have chosen dress codes that suit the spirit of each occasion — festive elegance on the first evening, and the charm of an English garden party on ceremony day.
Stockbridge is a small village in Hampshire, approximately 1.5 hours by road from central London. We have arranged a coach for those joining from London.
Stockbridge is one of England's most picturesque villages — a single sweeping High Street with the River Test running alongside. Everything you need is within an easy stroll.
A word on the village
Stockbridge is famed for its wide, historic High Street — originally broad enough to herd livestock along as a drover's road — now lined with independent boutiques, art galleries, and characterful pubs. It is home to England's oldest fishing society, founded in 1822, and the River Test running alongside is one of the country's most celebrated chalk streams. Small in scale but rich in history and charm, it is the kind of place that rewards a slow wander.
A few favourite stops along the High Street: Thyme & Tides, The Ecology Store, Orvis, and Robjent's.
